Recently, Pakistan has experienced heavy flooding and many people have lost their homes and important things, like food and even livestock. 500 people lost their lives and many are left homeless with nowhere to go for food or shelter.
Pakistan is already suffering from poverty, Christians and other religious groups are persecuted every second of the day, and people often have trouble even getting a drink of water. The need for support is great. But, we are here to serve the needs of those who have suffered.

Pakistan is a country that doesn’t seem to draw as much attention from most people as Kenya, Guatemala, or other nations that tend to receive a lot of funding and focus. Yet, it tops the charts in many categories for the persecution of religious faiths and poverty. According to OpenDoorsUSA, Pakistan ranks number 8 on the list of top 50 countries where it’s most difficult to follow Jesus on their “The World Watch List”.
Pakistan is considered the doorway to the middle east, and oftentimes things that happen in the regions nearby ripple over into Pakistan. Right now, things are dire. Thousands of people are in debt that they can never possibly pay due to an absurd and corrupt interest system that essentially makes slaves out of those who owe debts. Most slave work involves making bricks with primitive style tools and methods. They are paid essentially pennies, which is all they have to buy food for their families. On days when it rains, their bricks are ruined and the enslaved will not be paid as a result. Their children will inherit this debt and in turn become slaves themselves.
Many villages don’t have access to clean water, leading to many other problems, including food shortages and major health issues. Oftentimes, those who take out debts do so to buy food for their families, but they wind up paying the price for simply trying to provide a meal to the people they love who desperately need it.
On top of this, the Christians who live in Pakistan are at constant risk of being killed for their faith. They are bribed to denounce their faith and persecuted if they don’t. Muslims and Hindus alike persecute believers, burning their houses, killing their families, and threatening their livelihoods. It’s not rare to see entire villages burned to ash because the village inhabitants chose to accept Christ as their Savior.
The needs continue to rise every day as more people find themselves trapped in the cycle of poverty, taking on debts they cannot repay, living in villages that struggle to access clean water, and being harmed by those who wish to see people adopt their religious philosophies. For a while, poverty seemed to be decreasing within Pakistan, but within the past 10 years, the poverty rate has drastically increased due to the control of the religious Muslim and Hindu leaders. Even more recently, the result of the Afghanistan conflict has resulted in a shockwave of migrants and a tighter grip of control by the Muslim leaders over the Pakistani population.
To add to the many needs of the people of Pakistan, the country recently experienced massive flooding, with around 60% of the country affected by these floods. 500 people lost their lives, with countless others losing their homes, livestock, food, and belongings. Life has changed for these people and they desperately need us to stand with them.
Right now, we need your help to alleviate the suffering of millions of people in Pakistan. These people are suffering from the effects of the debt system established in Pakistan. Thousand of people have absolutely no access to clean water, and even more go hungry, unable to eat enough food during the day to provide their bodies with the nourishment they need. If they do find water, it is often after a far trek. But we are saying no more to this suffering! If you want to participate in ending the suffering of these people and send a message to the people who have chosen to make a decision to follow Christ that God answers their prayers, then help be the answer to their cries. Be the vessel that is used to pour out blessings into the lives of these people.
Our goal is to raise $60,000.
