Often, we hear the needs and cries of people from nations such as Kenya, Guatemala, or Zimbabwe. But rarely do you hear of the dire needs of the people in Pakistan. It is one of the most dangerous places to live if you are a Christian. Slavery is very real there and many villages suffer from a lack of clean drinking water. Now, many many Christians are facing severe persecution, leaving them homeless with no food, water, or any belongings.
Don't forget about Pakistan. The needs are many. Every penny makes a major difference in the lives of those suffering. Thank you for considering the poor and giving back to those who need it. With your help, we will plant more water hand pumps, give families the opportunity to provide for themselves, and bring food and supplies to those who truly need it.
Pakistan is a country that doesn’t seem to draw as much attention from most people as Kenya, Guatemala, or other nations that tend to receive a lot of funding and focus. Yet, it tops the charts in many categories for the persecution of religious faiths and poverty. According to OpenDoorsUSA, Pakistan ranks number 8 on the list of top 50 countries where it’s most difficult to follow Jesus on their “The World Watch List”.
Pakistan is considered the doorway to the middle east, and oftentimes things that happen in the regions nearby ripple over into Pakistan. Right now, things are dire. Thousands of Christians are being persecuted for their faith in mass. Houses and churches are being burned down, violence is taking place in the street where many Christians are beaten or even killed, and many have lost everything except for the very clothes on their very back. Right now, they need our help more than ever. With your help, we want to raise $10,000 to serve the needs of these persecuted Christians.
Right now, we need your help to alleviate the suffering of millions of people in Pakistan. These people are suffering from the effects of the debt system established in Pakistan. Thousand of people have absolutely no access to clean water, and even more go hungry, unable to eat enough food during the day to provide their bodies with the nourishment they need. If they do find water, it is often after a far trek which could lead in them being raped, kidnapped, or attacked. But we are saying no more to this suffering! If you want to participate in ending the suffering of these people and send a message to the people who have chosen to make a decision to follow Christ that God answers their prayers, then help be the answer to their cries. Be the vessel that is used to pour out blessings into the lives of these people.
The needs were massive already, but the recent persecution has only added to the long list of needs that need to be met. It is up to and I to rise up and answer their cries. We are vessels of G-d, so let’s join together to help these people. To those who give already, thank you. You are a part of helping others feel the love of Christ. You are the change the world needs.
Help us change lives in Pakistan. We are so grateful for how responsive you, an advocate for the poor, have been in the past. Once again, we are asking your help to partner with us in tackling this challenge. Thank you for all that you do to serve the poorest communities in the world. You are the reason why we have changed millions of lives, and the reason why we will change millions more!
