On January 9, 2018, while returning home from his nightly Bible studies, Rabbi Shevach was gunned down and murdered by terrorists, leaving behind his wife and 6 young children. King’s Ransom is caring for their physical, financial, and emotional needs through this devastating event in their life.
This is Tehilah, a widow of 9 years. She was left with two young children. She is doing everything she can to provide for her children. Rav Natan is providing emotional and financial support.
Tzfat is one of the poorest neighborhoods in Israel. Fires ruined or destroyed dozens of homes over several blocks, leaving families homeless, fearful, and alone. Our office in Israel is taking care of these families.

In January, a missile landed in the south of Israel on Shabbat, striking the playground of a kindergarten.

Rabbi Natan and a crew of volunteers took care of an elderly widow whose apartment was falling apart around her. They cleaned out mold, mildew, and garbage, and repaired the walls, ceiling, and windows.
This widow’s home had become unlivable.
