Calling Out The LEADERS In The Days Of COVID-19

Calling Out The LEADERS In The Days Of COVID-19

Have you ever wanted to feel like a LEADER? Like a CHAMPION?

Here’s your chance.

“Leaders Eat Last,” by Simon Sinek, is one of those books that has impacted my thinking in a significant way. In it, he talks about how putting the needs of those under your care ahead of your own is a sign of a great leader.

Isn’t that what Jesus (or Y’shua, as His mom called Him) taught us? Didn’t He model servant leadership to us? No matter what we think “faith” and “religion” are, this is what He is expecting from us.

Right now, there is a lot of anxiety swirling around us. People are afraid they are going to lose their jobs…worse. Even people who aren’t afraid of the virus itself are agitated by the constantly-changing rules all around them. Will this ever end? Will things ever get better?

Probably not. It’s the COVID-19 cases worldwide, and it has already changed since I screenshot it.

That’s the enemy we’re dealing with: a fast-moving, pitiless disease that doesn’t care how rich or poor you are. Right now, it’s growing in all of the nations where we are doing work. Imagine living in a country where you don’t have access to medical care, 24-7 information resources, or even safe food. If you think our government is a mess right now, imagine the heartless dictatorships that are letting their people die while they take no action against the Coronavirus. We have a mandate from God to serve the poorest of the world’s poor. If we don’t feed them, they won’t eat. Period. There is no Plan B. There is nobody else. They are the forgotten people of the world. But God has not forgotten.

Another thing Jesus taught us was that we reap what we sow. If we give unto others, it will be given unto us. (Luke 6:38) I know you’ve probably been beaten over the head with that verse by your pastor for years. But it doesn’t say anything about giving to a church or an 8-figure private jet. Jesus taught us to give to the poor.

So now, we have an opportunity to do two things:

  1. Obey God’s law to serve the poor.
  2. Use the Law of Reaping and Sowing the way it was intended.

Everyone talks about “being the church.” This is it. This is where the rubber meets the road. When you’re not sure what the future holds for you, will you serve those who can do nothing in return for you?

Do you believe what Jesus said?

Exactly ZERO percent of your donation goes to pay salaries or expenses — that’s our promise to you. We send every single penny of your donation straight to the poor around the world. You can choose which nation or project you want to support. That’s entirely up to you.

Are you ready to make a difference when it is needed most? This is your time.

Let’s lead.
